Even though 2020 was a strange year, I was compelled to change the way I did business as a DFW Family Photographer. I started offering a full scale photography experience. It’s been an exciting adventure. I got my first office space to hold session consultations and bring clients back for their Image Viewing and Selection Appointment. Expecting moms have enjoyed having access to my selection of maternity gowns for clients to use during their session. Everyone’s favorite part has been seeing their images displayed on beautiful, high quality print products.

The majority of the year, I’ve shot sessions while wearing a mask. This has been an adjustment. My breath often fogs up my view finder, which makes it hard to find my focus. Also, I rely on silly facial expressions when I shoot and figuring out different techniques to use to get children to smile been interesting.

Front porch sessions were such a hit during quarantine and I was able to donate $575 to The Net FW and $575 to Christ Haven’s for Children (both local organizations) through these session booking fee.

Valentine’s, Fall and Holiday Mini Sessions are always fun! I enjoy seeing and capturing returning families. It’s fun to see how much kids grow and change and meet new members. Plus, this year I’ve had fun collaborating with Stellar Creations and Authentic Events. Co. Stay tuned for more cute collabs in 2021!
