My favorite thing about the family mini sessions is seeing families I’ve photographed previously. It’s fun to see how the kids have grown, what they remember from our last session and catch up with the parents.

This was the windiest day in my history of mini sessions. It was also very sunny, yet cloudy, so the light was constantly changing. As with most things that happen at family sessions, we all rolled with it.

Nolan and his sweet sisters are always great listeners and their mom worked a twenty-four hour shift at the hospital, came home, slept a few hours, then got everyone ready and showed up like it was nothing. That’s a mom for you.

Aiden had grown since his newborn session last December and his cheeks are the best! Liam’s personality keeps emerging each session we have together and it was sweet to see him as a good big brother!

Clara had grown since her newborn session in August and we managed to get a few baby smiles out of her. And her sisters always bring the fun with their upbeat personalities!

If you missed family mini sessions this year, no worries. I capture family sessions throughout the year and spring is personally my favorite!
