Front Porch Mini Sessions For Charity

Family

The past couple of months have been hard on everyone. When the first round of stay at home restrictions were lifted in Texas in May, I decided to offer Front Porch Mini Sessions with the session fee being donated to local charities as a way to give back to the community.

It was nice to get back to shooting and I think families loved these front porch mini sessions for the ease and convenience of walking out your front door.  I was able to donate $575 to The Net FW and $575 to Christ Haven’s for Children (both local organizations) through these sessions.

COVID sure did provide some interesting scenarios for the photos! There was a family being photographed for the first time with a new baby. One baby who’s been born since. There were some who dressed up to represent this crazy time. Skeptical dogs of me wearing my face mask. There were plenty of energetic toddlers eager to show off for someone new since being locked in with their families! 🙂

There was also one major technical difficulty with a few sessions and a group of kind and gracious families who were patient with me while the issue was resolved.

You know who you are and thank you! And a big thank you to all who participated in these sessions and contributed to these charitable donations!
