If you’re wondering what’s the best way to prep your kids for a session, follow these three tips to set them up for success.
1. A less busy day so they aren’t tired. If they still nap, stick to their routine.
2. A meal or snack ahead of time. Do not wait and push it until after the session. Full belly = happy kid
3. Positivity & Praise. There isn’t anything your kid can do wrong during a session. I expect to pivot and adjust at each session with young kids and you should too! As a parent, I get it. As a photographer, I encourage you to redirect with gentle reminders during the session to keep the mood light and loving.
