Alright people, don’t sleep on the mountains in the fall! My husband and I were fortunate enough to visit the San Jan Mountains at the end of September and it was a sight to see! The aspens were changing colors and every view was stunning. Similar to our beach vacation, I only packed my film camera bag for this trip. And once again, I was happy with this choice.

According to the feedback I received with my film scans, “Portra 400 is a great film stock choice, especially for fall colors. It has a yellow color base so it really makes the yellow leaves pop.” I couldn’t agree more! Plus, my husband may have snapped my new favorite photo of me in this series.
