My friend, Carla, turned me on to how great a few hours at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens can be for our entire family. The kids love exploring, feeding the koi fish and seeing any special exhibits. I can shoot some photos of kids doing said things and we all get out and get some fresh air. Win, win!
When we visited in November, the gardens still had Patrick Dougherty’s “Stickwork” sculpture on display. The kids loved running through it and playing hide and seek. Check out the cool exhibit below.
