First birthday sessions are a great way to remember a big, important birthday!
I’ve captured this birthday boy since he was 3 months old and then again at 5 months. I love those kissable cheeks, piercing blue eyes and innocent, gentle smile. He’s always been interested in the camera and the shenanigans we do behind the scenes. I was excited when his mom contacted me about his first birthday session. I couldn’t wait to see how much he had grown since December. His mom made the cloth banner hanging in the background and the cake. They couldn’t have been any more perfect! And then there is his cake smash outfit! His grandpa called it his “Chip ‘n Dales” costume and I couldn’t stop laughing. I don’t think any of us there could with how adorable he looked. He loved tearing the cake apart, throwing the sprinkles around and enjoyed a few bites once his mom helped him dive in!
It’s such an honor to capture kids as they grow from tiny babies into big kids. I love when families celebrate making it through that first year with a first birthday session! Happy first birthday to this big guy!
